About the publication

A domain repurposed for remembrance.

Her Name, Remembered is an independent public archive for carefully sourced stories about women whose courage, achievement, leadership, or original work did not receive the attention it deserved.

The domain was originally purchased for an unrelated dog-meeting project. That project was abandoned before it developed a real user community. Rather than leave the domain unused, we repurposed it for work that can preserve overlooked history. The former application and its records remain archived, but its routes and identity are retired.

The publication is free of accounts, comments, advertising, newsletters, tracking cookies, and behavioral analytics.
